Festival Nits de Cinema Oriental 2026
Before one of the screenings at L’Atlàntida, on a surprise panel we were able to explain the process of Valentina de Montblanc to the audience of the Festival Nits de Cinema Oriental de Vic!
LUEE Animació participated in the Festival Nits de Cinema Oriental de Vic this year with a talk held at L’Atlàntida, where the team shared with the audience the creation process of Valentina de Montblanc. The session allowed us to talk about the different phases of the project’s development, from the initial idea to the final production, highlighting the artisanal work, the coordination of the teams and the technical and creative challenges involved in producing an animated work.
Beyond the technical aspects, the meeting was an opportunity to show that it is possible to produce quality audiovisual and animation projects from small studios. LUEE Animació defended the value of talent, perseverance and collaboration as engines capable of turning an idea into a production with a track record, demonstrating that the size of a studio should not limit ambition or the ability to create quality content.
During the talk, emphasis was also placed on the need to decentralize the audiovisual industry and generate opportunities beyond the great urban areas, such as Barcelona. LUEE Animació headlined the role of studios established in the territory, highlighting that creativity and innovation do not understand of geography and that supporting production from local cities and towns contributes to enriching the sector, retaining local talent and building a more diverse, balanced and rooted industry in the country.
Many thanks to Quim Crusellas and the entire Festival team for inviting us and doing, once again, an excellent job with this unmissable event!
