Synopsis:
Mashups Literaris de Ciutat Maragda is an impossible encounter between books, authors and imagination that gives rise to unexpected stories. This microformat for 3Cat Cultura collides two literary works to create a completely new and hybrid story. Inspired by the concept of the musical mashup, it pays homage to classic and contemporary authors through a dynamic and multifaceted visual language, deeply influenced by comics, illustration and cinema.

The challenge:
The main challenge of Mashups Literaris de Ciutat Maragda was the comprehensive development of the format in a vertical aspect ratio (9:16), designed to captivate the audience in digital environments. From Luee Animació we were in charge of integrating three different layers: the real image of the presenter, the digital backgrounds where each story is located and the illustration details. The key to the project was in post-production, where we had to integrate all these elements to achieve a fluid and polished visual narrative that accompanied the rhythm and strength of David Guzmán’s words.
